Our Story and Goals
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read about what we have to say! I’ve had some influence to provide a space where we can collaborate with others who might want to be a part of our bee keeping journey, so we thought this page might be a good place to start. Bee keeping is rather expensive but thankfully I managed to get a few hives started with the help of Paypal’s credit system. 🙏 We are still working off that debt, but it has been worth it to give these bees the space to thrive.
A place to thrive
Bees are one of the most vital parts of our ecosystem. Nearly one-third of the world’s food supply depends on pollinators like honey bees. Without them, countless crops, flowers, and wild plants would struggle to survive, leading to a devastating chain reaction for wildlife and humanity alike.
I’m currently working to grow and protect Five Italian honey bee hives. These hives not only produce honey but also strengthen the surrounding environment by boosting pollination for local plants, gardens, and farms. Expanding the space for these hives will help increase their population, creating more pollinators to benefit both nature and our food sources. More bees = more fruit/vegetables = more accessible/affordable food overall.
If we’re able to, the goal is to add multiple additional hives, further increasing the bee population and the positive impact on the surrounding ecosystem. We have the space to comfortably produce 10-15 additional hives, but with some work and rearranging of my property, we could potentially fit more.
